Question Cancelling Exam Appointment, is it considered an attempt?

Hi I had applied for step1 twice before but could not give it because of personal reasons. I am not able to take my exam on the third occasion also because of personal reasons again.
Will I be able to re-apply for my exam the fourth time if I am willing to pay the full fees of 740 USD again.
Is there a limit on how many times you can apply for the exam? or is it counted as an attempt? All the 3 times I have cancelled my appointment with the Prometric.

Please help !!

Thanks.

Hi guys,

Im in dire need for some clarification.
Does the 6 time limit for sitting for step 1 include no shows?

I have applied for step 1 6 times so far without ever sitting for it, due to many different reasons. My current eligibility period expires in july ( with extension) - there are no available dates so far and i don't feel like I'm well prepared.

Does this mean that i can't apply again?
Ive read threads where they said no show aren't considered an attempt
while others say you are automatically barred from ecfmg after 6 applications regardless.please help

Thanks.
