What is the Pulmonary function test results? Thanks

PaO2 (arterial) is decreased and PAO2 (alveolar) is increased in comparison due to the decreased perfusion of the lung from the emboli.

Early CO2 would be decreased from hyperventilation but later it would be increased due to respiratory failure (if severe).

O2 sat and O2 content are decreased also.

btw, Pulmonary Functions are the FVC and FEV.
