Idea! Trends in getting above a 260+ on step 1

Hey I just thought of a useful post and I think it would be great if the moderators could make it into a sticky.

So what is the general pattern/trend/formula to get above a 260 on the Step 1? I understand that doing kaplan vids, taking notes in fa is necessary. However, besides kaplan vids, notes in fa, what specific things/trends/formula did you notice that students that got a 260 or higher did?

I will write down what I found by searching these forums/talking to people. Feel free to add info if you scored above a 260, got tips from people above a 260.

1) Doing atleast 3 question banks (Kaplan, Usmlerx, Uworld last)

2) DIT videos a few weeks before the exam, to help consolidate fa info

i think that the secret in scores above 260 is the Qs

THE MORE THE QUESTIONS YOU ANSWERED THE HIGHER SCORE U CAN GET
