Default Has anyone used First Aid Triple Bundle from USMLErx

Is it worth it or is it fine to just use the Qbank (Qmax)?

I think I'm about to buy it. I'm about 500 Qs into Uworld but only averaging in the 60s percentage-wise. 74 days until the test so I'm not worried about that, but I'm thinking about doing the Qmax and Express vids as quickly as possible just to get through FA. There are two reasons for this, feel free to comment/ add thoughts.
1) I like knowing how long something will take. By that I mean an hour of videos will take about an hour, so I budget 1.5 so I can take notes/ read along. In contrast, straight reading XXX number of pages can take wildly different amounts of time depending on the chapter. At this point I mostly need to see the random factoids on the page so I can remember them (trivia type things I remember by recalling where they were in relation to pictures or colored areas, YMMV).
2) I like the idea of having the answer explanations direct me to a page; turning to the index literally 1,000s of times eats up a massive amount of the clock over the course of 3 months. Being told immediately where to go will save hours or days over the course of 2,300 questions (especially if you look up 4 things per question).

Anyway, just my view. It's only $1XX either way, so whatever. My break is up so back to work...

Just an update since I bought it.

You can watch videos that tie into FA 13,14 or 15 (they are still adding 15 stuff I think), which is cool. What's not cool is there appears to be no published list of the videos and their run times. DIT has a printable list of all their vids, this was helpful to me when I did it last year. Having such a list w/ runtimes would be useful for planning study time, and the idea of saving time was a large factor in my purchase. So far I've only done respiratory, but I plan to do it all. The printable workbooks are a nice touch, and though I hate doing them I do feel they are beneficial for making the learning process active. They also point out just quickly things can be forgotten.

The flashcards are not bad, I plan to do them during downtime or while on exercise bike. I prefer USMLEstat, but for now while trying to get a solid FA pass done I appreciate the integration FlashFacts provides.

The Qbank I would rate under Uworld, and maybe on par with what Truelearn provides. Uworld of course is the king, but I find Truelearn provides a more useful analysis of performance, at least in terms of the ways to break it down.
For answer explanations I'd rate them Uworld>Truelearn>QMax, though Qmax obviously has the benefit of showing you both the FA page number and the page itself which is nice.

My only complaints are that there is no real guide as to what is there (How many vids? How long?) and their main page and product descriptions are basically sales blurbs. For $169 with a coupon I'd say it's worth it though.

If you already have one Qbank and can read FA on your own without being bored out of your mind I'd suggest skipping this and getting Picmonic instead. More than anything else it is what has stuck with me and helped me with the things that require brute force memorization.

Anyway, if you have the cash and the time (and hate staring at FA for hours) then I'd say go for it. If it were between this and DIT and both were the same price I'd probably say DIT, but considering DIT is $$$$$ and this is $$, if you have a budget I'd go with this + picmonic + uworld. Again, I haven't taken the real test, but I do have most if not all of the test prep things and Qbanks (DIT 2014, PASS, Uworld, Truelearn, Picmonic, this, KISS pharm, etc) so while I can't comment on effectiveness I can at least make comparisons. Hope it helps.
