Vascular Pressure and Resistance Question

Hey guys, I had my exam a couple weeks ago, and I can specifically remember 1 question that I believe came directly from Uworld. The quesstion went like this,

What would happen if the stop valve was released in this diagram

( X) =====|=====( Y )

I can only remember what I answered and that was that balloon X would completely Collapse.

(X) = Small Baloon
===== represents the tube connecting Balloons X and Y
| = the stop valve

I am fairly certain Uworld has this question. Can someone tell me what Uworld says the right answer is, Thank you
