Question need your help to decide pls...

Hi, everyone I'm an international medical student in my fifth year , and Im planning to take step 1.

i need your your opinions to decide wether to choose Kaplan prep for 6 weeks in Hungary or to choose usmle success academy 3 weeks in Chicago ، because i have narrowed my options to those two.

which one is better and more informative and most of all useful to get a good grade in the exam .

so please if anyone have tried either one of them please share your experience or your opinion ..

thanks everyone.

I've actually used both. I took kaplan during my medical school curriculum and the usmle success academy for my actual review/prep period. Kaplan is really detailed but afterwards you don't really know what it is that needs to be focused on, so i needed more. The usmle success academy gave me more of what i was looking for from a prep course in terms of a high-yield review, test taking strategies, and lots of free tutoring. The classes are also smaller, it feels more like a real class where they get to know you and actually want you to succeed, this was really important to me in choosing a review program. I have recommended the usmle success academy to my classmates and will continue to if anyone else asks.

thanks a lot chris really appreciate it

so usmle success academy is better in terms of actually preparing for the exam.

No problem...

I feel as though they give you a more specific program geared towards the actual exam, so you know specifically where you need to focus. What you do with it will really determine your score. You still need to work really hard to actually master everything, so if you take what they give you and work hard, you can definitely do well. They will also guide you and help you navigate through your period of study and help you even after you leave the program, which I find to be really helpful as I continue to study.

Good luck
