Honestly, Histo is very low yield. When you do Pathology, you'll be covering the important histo anyways. Also I have been told by someone who did really well on his exam that fa is more than enough for histo. I think at this point, the best thing for you would be to strengthen histo while you read first aid/do path/do questions. However, definately try to finish the lecture notes reading, or videos atleast once if you can.

This is an old thread, however, I feel that I should type up for future readers.

Ok, the guy might suck in histo, but I just think that histo is super boring and anyone would suck at that. I'm planning on watching these when a nice coffee from Starbucks gets me in the mood.

That said, the neuro lectures are very very good. He does read, but only to make sure he's not missing anything. Neuro is a difficult subject to reproduce from memory; it's much easier to have at least a pic guiding you to explain things. I dreaded going through the neuro videos, but at the end I realized that I know much more about neuro.

The best approach to this subject, if you're struggling with it, is to read his book USMLE road map very quickly (barely understanding anything), and then watch his lecture videos while reading kaplan LN (which you don't have to pay too much attention to anyways because he pretty much says everything in the book).

I can see why people would dislike him. However, I thought those neuro videos were on point and I'd recommend anyone to watch them.

Just my 2 centavos....

Well said! I'm a big fan of the neuro videos too. I watched it towards the end of my prep to help me consolidate stuff and orient me to the pictures. Now, I'm wishing I watched it during my first reading of neuro KLN. My friend says the videos really help reading KLN easier. I tend to agree.

Default Agree!!

My timetable went to rocks because of this prof's histology videos. I couldn't get past 4 videos . he is terrible . I looked up online and there's a set of videos by washingtondeceit , and they are good. And like OP said, it would be better to read the notes once quickly, then watch these videos. revise using FA.

Hope it works.

U are right! Initially didn't like him but developed good attitude towards him. Just try and listen to him. At times he projects a slide and start talking about it from middle, bottom etc I mean in no order but when u listen to him u understand it better. Then if u think he is fast just slow down the video infact couple of times I did fast forward him and slowed him as well.
