Default Delay in My USMLE step 1 score report

Pls has anybody experienced what is happening to me now, I took step 1 on 25th of March 2015, it is six weeks since I took the exam but I have not gotten my score yet. I am an IMG, and have contacted ECFMG, ECFMG said scores can take upto 8 weeks to be avalaible but said they are investigating the cause of the delay in the score report. Any experience or Idea? I am so worried... Any person with similar experience? Pls respond, your contribution and advice is needed.

i have a friend who's result was delayed for months, reason being that ECFMG needed to reconfirm with our university after she extended her eligibility period and our university didnt reply promptly after the problem was rectified her result was released, so worry not was they rectify the problem your result will be released, I trust you will do great.

Thanks for your contribution USMLE.Aim, but all my medical credentials have been verified by ECFMG, even before I register for the step 1. My medical certificate and transcript has been verified, and my Certifacation of Identification Form is valid till 2017. When I spoke with ECFMG staff on phone he said they have not received my score report yet. I am confused with the delay, it is six weeks since I took the exam, I am so worried..

Hmmm. I have seen cases here on the forums when the score report for some people was delayed for up to 6-7 weeks. Officially, the report should be out in 3 to 4 weeks. But, depending on the current pool of applicants, its not unusual for it to be delayed by a few weeks. This summer is peak season, and this may cause a delay as well.

You were properly registered with the ECFMG, right? And was this your first ever exam with a Prometric?

All in all, don't worry too much about it. Glitches like these are only technical, and would be solved in no time.

Thanks for your response Smashingdude, yes I was properly registered by ECFMG and have also spoken with them in regards to the delay in the score report. It is not my first time of taken exam with Prometric.
