Default Reading only Kaplan notes

Hello all. I am currently on my 1st read. I plan to do kaplan notes for all subjects except pathology and microbiology, for which I will use Pathoma and FA respectively.

For the remaining subjects, I am very comfortable with my Kaplan books and do not want to switch to FA at a later date after the Qbanks, since I can revise each book in 2-3 days easily.......

Are there people out there who have not used FA and only used Kaplan to get a good score?

The problem with Kaplan books is that you don't know what is high yield. FA will pinpoint what is important, and its a nice way to put all the information in one place. Besides, you would need to jot down UW notes somewhere, and putting them in Kaplan books will be too chaotic.

Kaplan books give you a lot of low-yield information that you really don't know. And reviewing them before the exam day is not really feasible. You would be opening 7-8 books simultaneously and it would be a chaos.

FA also allows you to integrate different disciplines. Together with UW notes, its the tried and tested strategy.

I have annotated stuff into my kaplan books from the kaplan videos

Can I let that go and just annotate Usmlerx and Uworld into FA? Is that enough?
