Hey nada awny!
So the thing with first aid is that in contains all the important concepts and high yield stuff. It isnt a book that teaches u very deep knowledge about all the detailed mechanisms. That why u use Kaplan or whatever other resources u plan to use. Now some people dont like FA, others love it. So it's kind of up to you to decide if it will help you or not. I can tell you how I am using it: Depending on how much knowledge I still had about a subject I read First aid before Kaplan. If I had no idea about a part, I first read a comprehensive text and then FA. This is how I did my first round of studies. After that I started with Uworld and annoted my FA with explanations and new stuff so my FA contained even more High yield material. Now I am at the end of my study session and I am just concentrating on FA where all the "essence" of my studies is , in in the hope that it will be enough for my exam! . hope this helps you!
