Start FA ASAP( IT TAKES TIME TO FINISH) and also look up into rapid review pathology 3rd edition by dr goljan for water, electrolyte imbalance and renal pathologies and Conrad Fischer's 100 cases for ethics.

Thanks a lot docsasmit.I read goljan RR twice but skipped the fluid dynamics and endocrine chapters.will do these now.Can i skip patho in first aid if i review goljan again.coz i don't have time to read first aid pathology. And also do u have any idea if first aid is enough for gross anat(esp structures injured during operations, arterial supply of abdomen) .Does first aid cover the depth of questions that are asked in the actual exam in gross anatomy?Iam very weak in this area.
Thanks again.

hello Dr Priyanka, I AM NOT THE RIGHT PERSON TO ANSWER YOUR QUERY REGARDING WHETER fa ANATOMY IS ENOUGH, coz I myself am also preparing for step 1...its better if you ask some1 who has given the exam. But reading from the posts here of successful step takers I have gathered that FA anatomy is definitely not enough to answer anatomy questions...it needs supplementation with Kaplan/ High Yield along with U World.
If I were you, I would not risk of skipping any section from FA be it Pathology or any thing else....
best of luck

i dint find any difficult anatomy questions in my exam.but its a big mistake u dint start first aid.do it immediately.it requires a minimum of 2 revisions.every line is important dont just brush through it.know it BY HEART.do a reading of first aid and u will find the difference in score
