Kaplan Medical Kaplan Qbank; waste of time?

A lot of people who killed the exam say you should never write the exam without having done at least 4000 questions...

I completed the uworld qbank. For those who have done the Kaplan step 1 qbank... what do you guys think?
Waste of time? Does it help you with your scores?

In general Kaplan Q bank is tougher than UW. However, you don't need to do both of them, if you are done with one of them with good scores it is enough.

Goodluck

Hey, I feel that both the Qbanks are good in diffent ways. I haven't written the exam yet but I can give you a little insight based on my experience so far. I was stuck on really low NBME scores after I had completed Uworld the first time. I was good at answering questions and I feel I had developed thinking skills thanks to Uworld. My concepts were clear but what I felt I was lacking in was memorization of small details. I started Kaplan Q bank after that, and just after finishing 60 % of the bank, I had a 24 point improvement in my NBME scores. No kidding!!
I feel the Qbank helps you more with recall and memorization. The questions don't require a lot of thinking, you just need to remember the details to answer them. Uworld helps with developings question answering skills. Their explanations are amazing, and I learnt most of my path thanks to UWorld. I feel both the banks have their own advantages, and you should definitely do both banks to get a 'good score'.
I am doing Uworld again, and also plan to do Kaplan questions again for my weak subjects. Kaplan is great in Physio and Behavioral Sciences!
