Question Qbank Answers Review; per block or per day!

Hey guys I wanted to ask you whats the best way to do qbanks (Kaplan qbank or uworld) if my goal was to finish a minimum of 3 blocks a day.

1) Should I do a block, review the answers, do another block, review the answers, and do a third one like that as well?
2) Should I do three blocks, and then review the answers after completing all three?

I would suggest reviewing after finishing each block for the following reasons:
  • Reviewing your mistakes immediately will more likely to result in knowledge retention if compared to a delayed review.
  • Changing pattern during the day (questions then answers then questions) will decrease the likelihood of boredom and loss of interest and focus.
  • Reviewing lots of blocks in one shot is usually an overwhelming task and you will likely skim fast through the high yield info just to get it done.

I even suggest you do half block review it and then move on to the next half block, this is during your mid prep days. But in your final days you might want to do 2 or 3 blocks in one shot (just to develop endurance for the upcoming exam).
