Skin Niacin and cutaneous flushing!

Which of following mediates cutaneous flushing side effects of niacin?

a. histamine
b. PG
c. serotonin
d. mast cells
e. eosinophils

its PG, rashes due to niacin can be relieved by aspirin!!

The niacin flush results from the stimulation of prostaglandins D(2) and E(2) by subcutaneous Langerhans cells via the G protein-coupled receptor 109A niacin receptor...
