Default Electives

I am an Indian medical student searching for electives i didn't appear for TOEFL And i will be giving my step 1 in octo. Please can anyone help me ....anyone who recently got elective or any international medical student or any seniors have any idea about getting electives please help me.Thanks in Advance

are you looking for electives in usa? what city?
I did some at allegheny general hospital in pittsburgh. they also have a lot of IMGs as residents

I am Indian too 2nd year student(4th sem) I also have plans to do elevtives in the US during my final year or internship...I contacted Allegheny general hospital they replied with the procedure to apply...so go ahead and let us know what you do

I just see that they offer only observership/shadowing, no clinical electives ??

You can only do observership at AGH, but they do take a ton of IMGs so it maybe worth doing one here if your step score is good. Most medicine residents I worked with had around 225-235 step 1 score.

I am not sure but that observership means hands-off USCE right?

If that is so, I am still a student can you point me to somewhere where I can apply for Electives or Externship hands-on!
