Help Three months gap in prep; Can I restart!

Hello everyone!

I started my preparation for step 1 in november 2010. Read well till july2011 had about three reads pf the whole course plus did UWORLD for a couple of months but then i didnt know wat happened as the time for giving the exam appeared i started becoming so lazy and instead of putting in more hours i just started to waste time...Upto the point that i have almost read none for the last 3 months...Now the scenario is that i have forgotten most of the stuff.
Now that i have realised what blunder i have done and i am planning to restart again my step 1 preparation, I am utterly demoralized and feel outraged at myself for such blunder...Can I restart my preparation and take the exam in about 2 months?
Any one else who has had such 3,4 months gap in preparation and then been able to recover and come back?

Please guyz
