Heart Cardiac function curve and mean systemic pressure

Another stupid question here, for the Venous Return (VR) graph when do you know when to move the mean systemic pressure (MSP) point, and when do you keep the MSP point same. For example in exercise you decrease TPR which pushes the MSP to the right (say +6 to +8) to help the heart accommodate the extra blood coming in. But yet, if I just decrease TRP (non-exercise) the MSP stays the same (+6) and the VR curve moves up.

So is it that only time MSP is always +6 (random number I made up) only if I decrease and increase TPR alone. And MSP moves back and forth for everything else like inc sympathic action, inc blood vol (or loss of blood), and so forth....
