USMLE Books Using Kaplan MedEssentials and FA

I did Kaplan Lecture notes 6 months ago. Forgotten most of the details. If i did MedEssentials along with FA is that safe or should I go through all 7 books of KLN!

Please advise

FA is more exam oriented, very precisely for test I must say, but only when you have somewhat clear concept of things it offers.
Kaplan and medEssential are more organized-concepts oriented.
Pick your weapon.

One final note. If u have time, I mean 2-3 months. Go through medEssentials, not really necessary though. If not stick with FA only, its enough, REALLY! And ditch the long big review books like kaplan and other stuffs, after all you went to med school rite? Instead of going through them do FA multiple times and QAs.
Thats my humble opinion.

Default need help!

hello everyone, i am an IMG and i started preparing for step1 from january still left with half pharmac. micro immuno, genetics ,patho and behavioral. i am planning to use kaplan medessential for my preparation as people use FA.

1)how did u do ur preparation with these books in how much time.

2)can i do micro, immuno, genetics and behavioral from medessential..

3)or should i use medessential along with FA and annotate one to other

4)do u know about any videos relevant to med essential as there are DIT videos for FA and of course kaplan videos for kaplan lecture notes.or i should watch kaplan videos only and annotate simultaneously in medessential.
