USMLE Scores Goodbye to the 99?

Does this means that the exam is harder? Now, what would happen when a dr. that did the exam after the change in the system scoring competes for a place of a residency against a dr. that did it before?

How is it going to be? Lets say dr. "A" scored 240/86 and dr. "B" scored 235/99...???

hey dr.mexito,

This is 2 my understanding....

d 2 digit scores now are percentage of q correct nt d percentile so there can b no comparison between test takers of 2 different times...

However now 3 digit score is tat maters 2 both program directors awa test takers as only they will b conveyed 2 pd....which is our aim of scoring high
if ur ready to is ready to teach...take d leap!!
