Kidney Arterioral dilation and Increased Capillary hydrostatic pressure!

Hello,

I read in BRS physiology that an increase in capillary hydrostatic pressure (Pc) is caused by increased arterial or venous pressure, leading to increased filtration. But in the table with the causes of edema Pc is a cause and an example of increased Pc is the arteriolar dilation.
What I am getting wrong here? increased arterial pressure (meaning increased MAP) and arteriolar dilation (reducing peripheral vascular resistance meaning decreased MAP) cause increased Pc?

There's lots of conflicting parts in your question.

Which arteriole are you talking about? afferent, efferent, or non-renal systemic arterioles?

Edema is on that table as a result of increase capillary hydrostatic pressure.
Arteriolar Dilation will cause the vessel to expand and thus pushing the protein aside thats holding the hydrostatic pressure in. This is normally the oncotic pressure due to albumin.

I am referring to non-renal systemic arterioles, which regulate the Peripheral vascular resistance and thus the MAP(=COxPVR).MAP must be high to maintain an adequate filtration from capillaries to tissues. I have thought a little more about my question.The local tissue arteriolar dilation causes an increase in flow to the capillaries, leading to increased hydrostatic pressure, and is a cause of edema. Nonetheless, constriction of the arterioles systemically maintains a high pressure.Let me give you an example: Calcium channel blockers reduce PVR and thus reduce MAP. But they also cause pedal edemas,because of an increase in hydrostatic pressure in pedal capillaries (arteriolar dilation locally). is that right?

hydrostatic pressure is one who throw things out of capillaries(best way to memorize it )
secondly,arteries_arterioles_capillaries_venues _veins
so when there is dilation of arterioles ...more blood flow and thus increase pressure in capillaries ....increase hydrostatic pressure= fluid move out=edema

i am not good in explaining ..but hope you get it !
