Default Issues on eligibility period of Step 1

Guys, I have some issues about step 1 eliginility period , here they are :

First , I applied for step1 examination while I was a medical student few months back. I graduated from medical school last week. So, SHOULD I inform ECFMG of this event ? and if so how please ?

2nd, My eligibility period is ( Oct, Nov, Dec ) of 2015. I think I am going for an extension for this eligibility period.
So, my question is , SHOULD I schedule an appointment first with the prometric center in my region on the assigned eligibility period then cancel it then apply for an extension then reschedule a new date for the exam at the prometric center ? is this the case ? if not, please inform me of what I shall do and I would be grateful.

3rd, what exactly are the steps to Extend my assigned eligibility period ? are there specific documents I need to obtain from my college ?

I appreciate you time to read and reply on my questions.
Thank you

1. Yes you absolutely should inform ECFMG that you have graduated. The best way is to email them.

2. I do not think you need to book and cancel.

3. Just ask this in your mail to ECFMG or maybe someone here who has extended will let you know.
