Angry How to Work on Weak Area ??

Allrite.. so everyone on forum talking about working on weak areas to improve nbme scores and other scores... i completly agree, but

my questions is that how EXACTLY DO people WORK on their WEAK AREAS??

can some of you please give me your ideas on how to work on Weak Areas.. i m really confused about how to go with it. how did you guys studied your weak areas after doing NBME??

For example: on my nbme 11 and 12 - Msk & C.T. , GI, Physio, Path, Repro, Renal were my weak subjects in terms of the bar being on lower end of side (almost touching the borderline area).

Should i read FA sections again? Should i read Goljan for those chapters??
i have 350 UW questions left. should i just do all the UW questions regarding each system even thou i have done them once b4 ??

My exam is in 30 days.. exactly.
Thank you guys.

Wink it depends

mmmmm.....i would say it depends on how weak u think urself....

let's just say that some mistakes are just coz u forgot some info from FA....then working on weak areas here will be just to go over and over it in FA, but if the info is new to ya, then i prefer checking it in kaplan notes or BRS.... i didn't take my exam yet but BRS in patho and physio is way better than kaplan and much smaller than Goljan

i don't mean to read the whole book, just the topic u think u don't get or understand

keep ur hopes high

I thank you for your time and your reply.

I realized that it is not a knowledge problem, it's a recall problem from FA. when i went over my NBME's i realized that i know stuff but for stupid reasons i click wrong ans.

i suggest do uworld as much as u can .For each Q read UW complete soln (right and wrong option explanation) then open up FA and read the whole topic actively.

for eg a Qs on dna virus.open FA read that virus also read all the dna viruses quickly but be quick

like a Qs on radial nerve open FA read all main nerves(unlar median and radial N) main points

but be quick it may take longer but once speed picks u will have command on both uworld and FA.during this review skip stuff u really know and read more (stuff u know less , stuff u got wrong in your nbmes)

i think in one month it will cover a lot.and nbme scores will improve. i bet.
