Question USMLE World reasonable, NBMEs are pure recall!

I find uworld questions to be much better and easier to answer, I can consistently score in the 65%'s, higher on a a good day for unused questions, in that I find the questions are very reasonable they give you enough information to deduce what the illness is, without having any idea what it is. but for the NBME's I am scraping by with low 200 scores. cause its the type of question they ask are all pure recall.
I was wondering is step1 questions like uworld questions or like NBMEs.

gave my exam on 10th oct(result awaited).
I personally feel that exam is much like UWSA(bit easier than UW). NOt many straight-forward-pure-recall questions & Questions awere way too longer than the NBMEs. Hope that helps.
