Default cocaine vs amphetamines?

How to differentiate between cocaine and amphetamine intoxication? they look largely the same to me

Not entirely sure on that one but as far as I know cocaine has a way shorter half-life. They both have identical clinical presentations but amphetamines have more long-lasting effects. I do not know if there any other way to differentiate between the two.

With respect to intoxication of both drugs, a patient intoxicated with amphetamines is likely to present with prolonged wakefulness (awake for several days), and fever. However, a patient intoxicated with cocaine will NOT present with the above symptoms.
