Idea! CS with Step 1 Prep

Hi
has anyone done cs and step 1 prep at the same time and does it make sense?
I am seeing the cs as not being so hard like step 1 and want to get one exam done quickly so I can spend more time on step 1. any advice please
thanks

hi there!

I am actually planning to do my cs while preparing for my step1 exam if God wills! I know its a crazy idea but bcoz the c/s results take around 2 months to come out, i thought i should do it first then take my step1 in order to b able to apply for the matching @ the beginnning of september.

So think abt it, if u think u can do it i think u should give it a try & best of luck to u

if you guyz are amg than its possible but if you are an img than you have visa problem,..because its difficult to have visa without step 1 and ck.

As far as I know from the searching I have been doing, it is the other way around, at least, at Hyderabad,India where I am from. If you have CK and Step1 and are applying for CS, your application is bound to be rejected as you definitely become a POTENTIAL IMMIGRANT.

I am studying for Step1 and CS simultaneously. Hope I will be able to manage good scores.

I think it is better that you don't mention your step history to the Visa officer. Visitors Visa (B1/B2) is all that you need to go for your CS exam. Schedule for all that you want based on your convenience.
