Kaplan Medical How to study along with Kaplan Course ?

Hey guys,

If anyone has taken a Kaplan course in the past please help me out!

I am wondering what is the best way to study after lectures? I sit through 8 hours of lectures everyday and not sure what else to do after? Review the lecture by skimming over everything they cover or read ahead ? May be do some questions ?

Please give me any suggestions you have!

Thank you

I took kaplan, and let me tell you, it is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to study when you get home, so.. dont go home right after. Most kaplan centers have a study area. So i STRONGLY suggest , right after you are done class, do ALL THE QUESTIONS in the back of each chapter you did in class that day. It will strengthen your concepts and force you to re-visit concepts you learnt that day by flipping back and forth through pages.

I did this for half of immuno and then i got lazy the 2nd half... and let me tell you, my first half of immuno is ROCK SOLID. So, hang around, it should take u maybe 2 hrs ( but usually not that long). Each chapter has about 5-7 q's at the end. Good luck

Thanks for the amazing tips! I will definitely try to follow that and see how it goes. I have been trying to keep up and review but it goes really slow after I come back home. I will stay back after class and hopefully can get some studying in!
