Kaplan Medical Dropped my score when switched to Timed mode!

Hi everyone,

This is my first post in this amazing forum : ))
Well my exam is scheduled in 6 months from now ...
I finished reading microbiology from first aid twice, CMMRS and even Kaplan notes.
the problem is when I did Kaplan Q bank in Microbiology my score was 62 % untimed mode,, it dropped to 52% in timed mode other students overall scores were 54%, note all questions were done for the first time ,,

I'm very worried, what's wrong with my preparation ?!!

Your advice would be very appreciated

Qbank fluctuation is rather normal specially in the beginning of a prep.

Also, it's normal for anybody to score less on timed-mode compared to the untimed-mode.

The USMLE exam is not only about knowledge and concepts but it's also about speed of thinking and how fast you get the point.

The only way to get better is by keep doing questions more and more and you'll find yourself getting better with time.
