I have no Idea man, but I will tell you what I tell my friends, if you are not satisfied with your score and if you dream of a better score then definitely postpone!

I don't know what to say .. but if I were you I would just go with the NBME 7 score. It also depends on how you took NBME 11 ? .. did you take it at night, were you stressed and under pressure that you gotta do better than NBME 7 ? Since the gap was only 1 week between the two NBME's, what did you study in that time period ? .. But if you can't decide or don't know what to do .. just study FA cover to cover one last time (say in 3-4 days) and take NBME 12 by Monday .. and just go with what NBME 12 says .. if its good and satisfactory then take your exam, if not then post pone it.

If your NBME 7 score is good thats usually what ppl get close to on their real exam but you can never be sure coz everyone is different n gets different exams. Just study hard!

Good luck!

hi,,,
I have heard that nbme 11 is harder; nbme 7 is an accurate predictor...i myself wrote nbme 11 and perhaps today m gonna get my step 1 score...i would let yu know abt it..

But at present , you should focus on your prep and as a friend said earlier, try nbme 12 and then take decision about postponig d exam...

Hi!
I got my score today,230/83.
NBME 7 score 1 month before exam:217
NBME 12 score 9 days to exam :214
My advice:
take the exam if you are saturated with your prep .If you have not yet read some topics or you feel you can improve the weak areas as per the NBME,then take a few more days to study. My score report(graph) looked exactly like the NBME graph.NBME are strong predictors of your weak areas.I recommend you to take NBME 12 as it covers many concepts tested on the exam.Good luck!

hey people my kaplan qbank average is a 68% right now after 1150 questions. i need to take the nbme comp exam in 2 weeks and dont know if a 68 % on kaplan qbank is a good indication of being prepared for both the nbme exam and step 1. would really appreciate some feedback
