Unhappy EXAM in 1 week! Lab values for HUS?????????

Hey guys

what are the lab values for 'hemolytic uremic syndrome'?
PT, PTT, platelet count & bleeding time? Im in the midst of compiling a list and would appreciate your input!

will post the complete compiled list soon!

HUS: uremic platelet dysfunction
-e.coli o157:H7 dysentery
-exposure to undercooked beef
Lab: all are normal only BT increased

Thank you!!!! Also would you know the values for

'Bernard Soulier?'

I was solving a question and the explanation said that the bleeding time is increased and platelet count is normal.

But I thought platelet count is decreased????????



Please help!!!!!!!

Yes the platelets are bigger than normal and non-functional so even though platelet count is normal BT is increased...

Benard Soulier ---> Big Suckers ---> Big Useless platelets
