Totally agree with u.........

Newborns immature immune system would not mount an IgG response and no multinucleate cells in tzank smear for same reason!!!!!!!!!

HSV culture is not the usual way to go.........and PCR is better than CSF analysis for specific diagnosis!!!!!!!!
