Default Metabolic Pathways to know

So I'm a little confused. I read through the official USMLE Content Outline 2015 and I didn't see any explicit indication that some of the mind-numbing pathways and intermediate metabolites are necessary to know for the test. Although they are carefully outlined in First Aid. Am I missing something? Are these pathways intricately tested, or only superficially?

just gave my exam yesterday .. i had a few bio mcqs generally stright-forward from 1st Aid .. i dont remember any Q about the pathways intermediates , just they asked about some important rate-limiting enzymes

asked my colleagues who just gave the step recently , there werent many bio mcqs

but these question do show up NBMEs especially for glucose ,like in NBME 16 , so knowing them in general can be helpful if u want a decent score but dont waste much time on them ,
i wouldnt rank them as high-yield
