Angry Kaplan's style of Wording - Annoying

So one beef I have with kaplan is their stupid way of wording things. They try to sound so educated and technical in the 2012 anatomy book (KLN 2012) that it just makes some things sooo hard to read and it's kind of like huhhhh whatt? And then I have to go back and read it again.

I compared it to other books like older kaplan books or the high yield series and they both used very very simple wording and reading it was so much more pleasant.

Now I know some of you may say "well it's anatomy" blah blah blah.... I'm not reading a PhD paper on anatomy, I'm just trying to review stuff as fast and easily as possible.

"Anterolateral portion courses distally to the medial portion of the blah blah of the liver."

Bad example, but seriousllly, some stuff could be said so much easier and I noticed in the older kaplan books and in the high yield series things are worded much more simply.

Reading something like, "passes through the heart behind the ____" - so much easier to quickly compute and store in your head.
