How does tPA increase PT and PTTI am having trouble understanding this. cause tPA works on plasminogen, so how does it affect coagulation factor levels?

it will take longer time to coagulate coz tPA will break the thrombin formed so PT and PTT will increase

its just an educated guess, i hope its the right explanation

it attacks the coagulation cascade at the level of thrombin (factor II), which is a common factor for both pathways, intrinsic (PT) and extrinsic (PTT).
