Listening Using DIT in preparation

hey guys i have completed kaplan videos and am planning on doing the doctors in training program(videos/workbook/everything in the program) but I wanted to ask you which method would be better

1) Should I follow what dit recommends, which is to do the course 5 weeks before my exam, leaving a 5 day gap between the end of the course and my exam date?
advantages: material will be fresh and I would have already done 2 q banks before starting dit and read first aid 3 times before starting dit. According to the dit staff, this helps with better retention during the exam.
disadvantages: I won't get to review my dit stuff/notes/workbook afterwords, as my exam will be 5 days later!

2) Should I do the dit course first, leaving around 2 months between the end of the course and the exam date? In the 2 months following my dit course, I will do 2 question banks and reread first aid multiple times.
advantages: ill now become familiar with the fa, thus have 2 months to build on that with question banks and more first aid reads
disadvantage: the material won't be fresh in my head since i'll finish the course 2 months before my exam date

i feel dit should be done when u already have a good base and you have done first aid yourself atleast twice because they go very fast ,if u do not have a good base u will not get much from the course.
i did DIT 6 weeks before my exam .by this time i was done with uwolrd once, then after DIT i m doing redoing uworld second exam is on 15th feb.

i completed DIT course in 2.5 weeks.also if u do dit far from exam you will forget the stuff they make you learn.
