Neuro IS hard. It is possible to learn/memorize it though. It just takes more time than let's say micro. The problem with neuro is, that understanding the concepts requires much more energy than micro. And only AFTER you learned what neuro is all about, should you try to memorize all that stuff.
If reading is not good learning technique for you, you can:
- try to watch some videos on topics you don't understand
- engage more in your study - reading is vey passive - try some active study techniques
- if neither of these are working for you, try to find a different review book on that subject

i have done najeeb and hy neuroanatomy.....and i dont remb anything...
dr.najeeb videos help u to understand a topic very well...and i found most of his explanations given in hy neuroanat...i wud highly recommend this book....
it is very difficult to understand and not remb neuroanat because we may know what a particular tract does and what are its functions....but when mentioned in a clinical vignette we find difficult relating them to a particular disorder cuz the symptoms are shared with many defects....so i wud say read whateva u can and do fa....and do ques from any qbank or atleast qbook.....try to do as many ques as poss and u vl knw how to correlate a symptom with a perticular part of lesion.....hope i made sense
