Unhappy Still getting questions wrong!

Hi, I'm new here.
I'm preparing myself to take the Step 1
I already did my preparation with Kaplan center and live lectures
I learned a lot through all the process and know I am on my own doing Uworld questions and still learning but I am very frustrated because even tough I already reviewed the whole thing there are questions that i still miss and some of that topic I already see or study but still I can't get to remember or dominate them.

In this process I have 9 months and I only have to end of March to take my exam because thatīs where my extension period ends.

Right now I am just learning by memory (mainly using mnemonics) because I don't see other way that themes that I already review stick to my head.

Please, if someone already pass through it, I appreciate any advice.

Thanks,
Steph

its a predicament that all step 1 aspirants share lol

after doing kaplan we feel that we are almost there ,but when we begin uworld, we realize its just the beginning.

uworld is very tough but the best resource for step 1 .annotate first aid while doing uworld .and keep working .the day u will have command on uworld u will 260+ haha so dont expect it too soon .its long process.

i m doing uworld second time i have reached 235 in nbmes still not having command on uworld .i still miss many questions.

uworld fill gaps in your memory .work with .u will perform great.

thanks for the advice, well everyone that I meet before made me believe that
when the time comes to do Uworld will be easier becuase I already pass throug Kaplan but I guess is not like that for everyone.
Well, I guess I shouldnīt hurry up to do the exam, if just that I though that it was just me that was taking too long and that there was no point in doing it later because it will be same.

@step_enhancer: True... "Usmleworld is just the beginning". Nicely put. It should be the company's advertising slogan. I couldn't describe uworld in better words.

@Steph2015: Nope, it's not just you... Uworld is really that hard. It's understandable and normal to feel frustrated when doing usmleworld, esp if it's your first qbank. Press on... It's the most important and indispensable part of the prep. You can do it in 2 mos.

Well said "Uworld is just the beginning"
Infact I was reading the stuff it said before I purchase the uworld Qbank and it states that uworld is not fully an assessment tool. Its a learning tool. So yes don't panic.. I am sure if you already did Kaplan then there are somethings which are stuck in your brain but you just feel like you dont know anything because of uworld. Slowly as you keep doing uworld you will be able to recall more. Just keep taking notes and learning from it.
Good luck!
