I used to use anki and now I use memorang. They are very different programs but i can definitely say that the quality of the cards on memorang are far better.

the reason to me is simple. with memorang there is a team who updates the cards every day. when you use a free deck, you have no clue who really made it and it doesn't stay updated. when i bought memorang for step 1 (lifetime access) it was covering first aid 2014, and then when first aid 2015 came out i got upgraded automatically.

fwiw, i scored 241 and my goal was 230. (i'm going in FM)

Default Anki.

What i have found is that most flashcards are the same. On one side you have what is construed as a question. On the other side you have the answer. This allows you to master facts, but it doesn't allow you to connect them with the concept.

I have an innovative flashcard study system that uses anki which allows you to master concepts while memorizing the facts.

I can introduce you to the program for free.
