Default Score dropped from NBME to UWSA

I heard UWSA over predicts.. Well I took NBME 16 less than a week ago and scored 211

Today I took UWSA 1 and scored 198

What the heck is going on? And what do I do? My exam is coming up soon too

hmm. i know for majority nbme 16 depicts real exam score with +/-5 or so.. and for some people uwsa 1 also depicts exact or +/- 10.. but honestly its different for every person. you may have studied a certain topic better and thats why answered right on nbme or you may have not known something and got those wrong in uwsa..i think you should take another nbme just to be safe and take it soon because you dont wanna take right near your exam..

also go over the explanations on uwsa 1 and wrong answers in 16 as well

in the end i feel it depends on person to person if you know something you will answer it right i mean the questions are different .. so these correlations do work mostly but not ALWAYS.

when theres a disparity between tests, its always better to take another one to be safe.
