Thumbs Up Endocrine Pathology- Most Commons

1. Most common pituitary tumor- Prolactinoma
2. Most common congenital thyroid anomaly- Thyroglossal Duct Cyst
3. Most common thyroid cancer- Papillary carcinoma
4. Most common cause of primary hyperparathyroidism- Parathyroid Adenoma
5. Most common cause of secondary hyperparathyroidism-Chronic renal disease
6. Most common cause of hypoparathyroidism-Accidental excision in thyroidectomy

7. Most common cause of Cushing's Syndrome- Exogenous steroid administration
8. Most common and earliest renal manifestation of diabetes- Increase in width of glomerular basement membrane
9. Most common islet cell tumor- Insulinoma
10. Most common adrenal tumor(adults)- Pheochromocytoma
11. Most common adrenal tumor(kids)- Neuroblastoma
