Planning Check out my STEP1 study plan

I am an IMG , graduated late 2011, planning to sit for step 1 July 2012. I have quite a number of materials to work with , been having problems narrowing down on what to prepare with, But thanks to this forums, I'm having some ideas I need u guys to help check out.

Duration: 4 months
Plan: 6 hours a day

1. WEEK 1-2: Run through FA in first and identify grey areas
2. WEEK 3-6: Focus on grey areas using High Yields and reference texts (Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology & Behavioral sciences), and BRS + reference texts (Pathology and Physiology), Kaplan Notes for Biochemistry, Genetics, Nutrition, Microbiology.
3. WEEK 6-8: Listen to Kaplan Audios, AND MAKE NOTES in FA
4. WEEK 9-12: Register with UW , Solve Questions & Read up Corrections,
5. WEEK 12-14: Do FA cover to cover & Study Flashcards
6. WEEK 15: Question BANK

Please Criticize , Please advise, Please recommend, Please Guide

It sounds like you have a strong plan and are motivated. The hardest part is to stick to a plan, so make sure keep the motivation with you along.

Now, make sure you do uworld questions EACH DAY, in a timed, random, unused fashion, even if you haven't covered material from FA or other sources and get those questions wrong, because it is the best method of learning and shown to be successful for many other students.

Also, don't overwhelm yourself by referring to multiple sources. Stay with some good sources and know them well rather than spreading yourself too thin.

Finally, take NBME tests from time to time to mark your progress and see how you are doing. This will show whether you have made an improvements and if your study strategy is working. Good Luck!
