Well.....In order to give sound advice more info is needed from you?

a) wether you are a recent graduate with some basic background knowledge or not....?

b) Taken any assesments or not?

c) are u looking for just a pass or a high score?

Assuming that you are an IMG....who needs to clear the exam with good marks
the time and prep u have mentioned are not enough,,,,I was in your position a couple of weeks ago and decided to postpone the test for at least 3-4 months.....so you should postpone.......and study seriously for this exam.....

from all the advice I get....this exam is doable....but there are no shortcuts....

and FA and Uworld is not enough for an IMG....to score well.....if you don't have a good background.......

Please explain in detail about your position.........so better advice can be given....

I'm not sure if I'm in the best position to give you suggestions. But here's my take:
Continue revising the last 50% of uworld. Work on your weak areas using kaplan qbank or other question sources.

I read that people here do DIT. It's only a 1-2 weeks course -- I'm not sure. They say it really increases nbmes scores, hence, give you better preparation for the exam. But I haven't done it so I can't really say if it's the right path for someone in your position.

Wish you all the best. Good luck!

I did the DIT program once before my test, about 20 days before the exam and my scores went up by almost 20 points, but that is given that I knew FA (about 75%) from my first time reading and had a strong foundation of basic sciences.

I would recommend you do DIT program religiously before the test and take another NBME before the exam to ensure you are in the passing zone.

Wow! 20 points!! Looks like DIT is really worth every penny!

What is your opinion regarding doing DIT on the same month of the exam? Pros/Cons? I know that is what is recommended but I'm nervous bec it's sooo close to the exam date. I'm more comfortable with just scanning my notes and doing questions by then.

Thanks for the feedback!

My score went up by 20 points I believe because I had a good foundation and I just needed one thing to go right before I hit my peak. Now, I don't know how strong your basic sciences are.

I would suggest doing this program over scanning your notes because DIT goes over FA cover to cover and gives your a better perspective on the material. Also, at this point, you must have gone over your notes multiple times, so there is no point of repeating stuff you already know.

Again, don't expect miracles from DIT if you don't have a good foundation, but its a worthwhile program to try.

You can try to download a torrent file and do that and see how it works out.

But take another NBME test before your exam because you are on dangerous territory going into the exam with a 201.

Good Luck!

Thankee! Although, you got me confused with flowerlady; she's the one who took the nbmes and is going to take the test soon.

Great input! I'll certainly look into DIT.
