Default Q.cause for inc.HbA2 & HbF in B-thal minor?

Q. What is the cause for increased HbA2 and Hb F in beta-thalassemia minor? Is it a compensatory increase for the decreased HbA or there is any other explanation?Pls share your understanding.thanks.

in beta thalesemia there is decreased or absent synthesis of beta globins....so decreased capacity of the hemoglobin to carry oxygen as these cells are phagocytosed by the spleen....
so instead there is increased production of other globins like gamma and delta....also HbF is produced as it has more affinity to oxygen so can partially compensate the oxygen carrying capacity
if im wrong then do correct me
