Default Recent exam experience September 2015

Hello all,
Honestly this is my first time to post in this forum but I've been a great fan of it for the past 3 months during my preparation for the step 1 exam.
I recently took my exam and it was a fair balance of questions. The questions are not hard but definitely need thinking.
All I can say is that USMLEworld is a must do because the questions are similar.
Another thing is that the NBMEs are also imperative because a question or 2 on my exam were straight from an NBME and when I saw those questions I was so happy that I knew them
However there are some really tough questions on the exam that you don't know where they are from. Lots of questions are not from first aid but definitely you can not disregard first aid for study .
My preparation time was 100 days. I studied Kaplan lecture notes(once with videos) and read first aid twice and did Conrad fishers master the boards ethics cases. At the end of my 100 days of prep I sat for the exam.
The exam is all about knowing what to study and how to manage your study time. You can not definitely study everything but whatever you study make sure you know it well
I'll update you with my score hopefully in 4 weeks.
Good luck to all

I seriously don't remember the questions because it was a very long and tiring exam. But nearly every concept was asked. But for me there was difficulty in micro because they would give you a picture and expect u to know what it is. I didnt know some of those questions as they were vague.

I'm currently a medical student in the Middle East.
I used my summer vacation to study.
I have a good clinical orientation but had a problem with the basics so I used Kaplan and pathoma for those.
