Sorry I can't give you an answer bec I haven't tried DIT. But you might want to look for posts made by step_enhancer, mbbs2010, and shriman. They are senior members of this forum who I remember to have used DIT. I have seen them give feedback on DIT when the topic pops out in previous threads. Don't worry though. When they see your thread, I'm sure they'll reply.

for DIT videos

dont do the sheets before
they are companions to ur videos

if u want u can read FA before

while u are doing the videos online this is the outline they follow
1-- they read thru first aid
2- after u finish a section.. he asks u to pause n answer certain questions
3- discusses those questions.... finish the topic read in FA with the videos
4-- do the end session quiz
5-- view video for end session quiz

6- at the beginning of everyday do the quiz for that day

follow the schedule they give you in the beginning of the first video
it is good n apt

n take ur exam 2 weeks from the course...
or alternatively.. repeat the course in a week ... about 1 week before ur exam

hope that helps

Wink Where is the best place to get videos?

Hi
I am about to start my study for the Step 1 and have gotten the FA and Kaplan Step 1 book where I plan suppliment notes into FA. As I am more of a practical person than a good student I think watching videos will be benefitial. My luck is I still have time, I do not need to get this within 3 months time. I have looked at the DIT and Kaplan videos, but to be honest I am not willing to pay as much as Kaplan require for watching the videos. USMLE World for q's are priced more in my range.

Dr_Raw; you paid for the video, did you get a download so you could watch it more than 2-3 times if needed?

Where would be the best place for me to get DIT videos and some of the Kaplan videos without loosing my clothing in the process?

Thank you in advance for help

I see a lot of mistakes in DIT. It's not as definitive as Kaplan. Probably use it after doing Kaplan, or if you have good basic science foundation. (specially in biochem part)

DIT by 2014 have a 3 compartments, Q and A, Premier videos, and Basics,
You can find book in last one i mean Doctors in training book, work book, and watch videos one by one in a recomended workbook order.
For first you encounter in work book a 3 quick quetions, than help you reminde some previous fact, after this you have a video lecture to corresponding topic, and finally a quetions that is adressed to topic teached.

Previously i did 3 time FA, and of course it's a previlegious to know material, and with this DIT just to make strong some areas.

DIT help you to memorise something, they ask you permanently to write on this working book material, than help you to fix this one.

New images are here from WWL LIPPINCOT...
And one of the more amazing is that videos have some funny moments, that help you to relax, to change you mind from that wave of concentration and tiredness...

I recomend to read FA previously...

Some phrases realy are high yield, if you do Usmle WOrld you may see a direct answer to this quetion from this course.
Best wishes...

Thanks. What I meant was is what do you do after watching the vídeos? And also, how do you study from FA? I would appreciate your help!
