Default Scientific Research Tool

Don't forget this:

scirus is the most comprehensive scientific research tool on the web. With over 370 million scientific items indexed at last count, it allows researchers to search for not only journal content but also scientists' homepages, courseware, pre-print server material, patents and institutional repository and website information.

Dude/Dudette, you should relax mate!!! I understand that you are new to this and you are seeing so much of information and at the same time you feel like losing on so much information but give it some time and you will be ok. This forum is a great place and within next 10 days or so, if you are regular here you will get most of the information and you will have some plans to start studying and stuff. I get a picture that you are a bit impatient currently, even though i do understand that feeling, i can also tell you that it won't help you much. Keep patience and you will be more than fine. Any questions you have, feel free to ask here. Just a friendly advice.

I agree Thanks DonofItaly

The thing is, that I can't believe I waited this long to get involved on a USMLE forum! and b4 I got involved there were so many resources I didn't know about except the perennial Goljan, Kaplan, Pass, FA, Falcon! now that I see so many things, I feel like I don't have time to go through everything and see which 1s are the best resources to compliment my USMLE prep!

I've had a lot on my plate since college and then med school, constantly working to pay my way through school and at 1 point i held three jobs with 18 credit hrs on my plate, and then if the teachers in Caribbean med schools were 1/2 way decent I wouldn't have had to read books from cover to cover upto 3 times for some subjects. But I dunno why I still believe that I am lacking in my prep, especially when the Med school that I went to doesn't give us NBME Comps!

I'm sorry I don't mean to be ungrateful, just think of me as taking my frustrations out loud, at least i'm not going columbine on anyone, lol

Thanks for everything guys! I do appreciate it! I be ok, always am!

No worries mate, always look at people who are sometimes talented but have no resources to get in, people who have guidance but its not the right one, people who want to study medicine but don't even get a chance to get in and believe me there are many of them in this world.

I understand your situation, i feel that a lot of times myself when i see people better prepared than me but its not about who is better or worse than you, its about how more mature you are now than what you were yesterday and how you will take the positive work forward.

You will do well, don't worry. Any more queries, you can ask. Also sometimes you can use the search option with the key words you are looking for, it might happen that the thing you are looking for has been already discussed.

ALL THE BEST!!!
