Default First aid CONSPIRACY

First aid contains all these facts; how much of it do we really have to know?

Look at someone who got a 260 or 270; how much of first aid do THEY really know?

I heard a guy, who got a 270, saying that he never even once read through the entire book;
what's more, a week before test day, he opened the book and saw all these things he had never heard of, and started panicking;
but then he relaxed because he knew he was getting 260s on the NBMEs.
And he knew he was getting these through UNDERSTANDING, not through knowledge of obscure facts.

But, first aid WANTS you to think that a 260 hinges upon knowing obscure facts and nothing else. That's why students buy the 2015 edition, because they're worried the 2014 edition won't include the risk factors for ultramicroscopicsilicovolcaneosis!

It's time we BREAK UP with first aid! It's time we understand, not memorize! QBanks are the one and only study strategy.
And I'll never do a QBank twice. You better believe I'm going through each one so slowly and methodically that I'll be happy to finish a single QBank once. To do a QBank twice would be to enforce memorization, not understanding.
