Default Need Motivation

Hello Everyone

I've done ab 7mo preparation, and have only 2mo left on my Eligibility period, and need to work more on my score since I'm still not there. But I feel I can't do it, and if after 7mo I'm still not even passing, then it is useless to continue, and every couple of days I feel like giving up ((

I know these are the traps of USMLE, and I have to persevere, but I don't know how anymore. I'm like a runner, who is close to the end line, but doesn't have any breath to go on. I'm getting slower and slower everyday on my pace, which makes my goal looking non-achievable forever ((

Please give me any words of motivation/advice/inspiration so I can get myself up again.

God bless U all!

Hi there!

I was in your state few weeks back. After 6 months of study I thought i would be ready for my exam but got shock of my life after taking first NBME and failing badly in it.I then understood the fault in my studies.I need to know in and out of First Aid and memorize every word and know every concepts related to it.

You can always do your first aid revision with Doctors in Training videos. And do questions every day.Hope you are done with Uworld one time and now its revision and vigorous discussion time.If possible find a compatible study partner."Failure is the pillar of success"..I always read it but I am living it now and I know we all will succeed.Do not loose hope.Just keep hammering on all clues, buzzwords and concepts.God bless you!

You're lucky to have 2 months left. That's plenty of time. Don't stress too hard memorizing information. Think BIG FACTS! Learn how to think about the big picture! Multi organ ideas. Not only is it more useful, it's more fun. Have fun with these last two months. They'll fly by, and I think your scores will improve. I think you will pass! God bless!
