Smile Scored 237; Indigo's Mistakes

Finally got my score 237, i know its not anywhere near the 250's but i am happy regardless. Not sure if one can match these days with this score but then uncertainty is the name of this game.

Mistakes I made during my study:

1. Did not find a study partner. It takes less time and effort to register things in your head if you have someone to discuss.
2. Did questions very late.
3. Should have taken a sleeping pill night b4 the exam as I was awake most of the night. could have got a 240 or sum-thing if i had done that.
4. Extended my exam date.
5. Did not keep anytime for de-stressing myself and ended up wasting a lot of time cribbing abt the stress.

FA is not required, Do Kaplan notes and Goljan is a very good resource.

Congrats!! Great score!

Of course, you have a great chance of matching with that score!

Thanks for no. 5! My need to "de-stress" has been validated! LOL!
I feel guilty most of the time when I take half or whole-day breaks.

Wish you all the best! Good luck in your next steps!

Last week go over your Goljan HY tables, see UL and LL from anat, learn cell injury, UW notes, biostats equations, Genetics. do the subjects you are scoring less. Its difficult to cover up everything and you have to read stuff that you have been not comfortable with.

Did NBME 11 and 12 : both 238

My exam was loaded with q's of behav sciences, was actually shocked to see so many.

And like everyone else said.. Its a really good score and you will make it to the match!!
Can you tell us more about your experience...
You said there were alot of BS questions.. Did you have more of ethics or Biostats?
Also, how were the CT scan pics? I know kaplan has some for anatomy.. Any other sources you recommend?

@ tina : NBME 11 was taken one month b4 and 12 was 5 days before the exam.

@ suka there were a lot of q's from biostats and kaplan is good enough for ct atleast the neuro part.

Thank you! That was really helpful.
Isn't there a separate $25 biostat questions in uworld? Did you try it and was it still not enough? I haven't subscribed yet but I'm planning to... What do you think?
