Arrow Questions after each subject during 1st read?

Hey guys I'm on my first read and just finished one subject. Should I wait till I finish my 1st read of all subjects before going into questions or can I go ahead and knock out questions from Kaplan Qbook for each subject as I go along? Thanks.

Doing questions after the first read of EACH subject is a much, much better way to go. It consolidates and clarifies the material while it's still fresh.

Also, you might want to look at Zumzum's study plan. (Just use the search function.) It's an effective approach.

I just checked out ZumZum method. Overall, it's good. But, I plan on giving 3 reads of KLN and starting kaplan qbank after the 2nd read and uworld after the 3rd read.

Your plan is great! The usmle does call for hard work and diligence. Not everyone realizes that. I'm happy you did.

I'm so proud of you. You make me cry with tears of joy.

You'll ace the exam with that. Good luck!

Thanks! I'm still a medical student so it will be a little tough to manage studies and wards with Step 1 preparation but I'm willing to go all out. Let's see what happens.
