Hi guys,

I did NBME 12 today and I got a low 194. I was planning on writing my exam Nov 11, which is 5 weeks away. How can I increase my score?

I very discouraged because I did what everyone else did.
I started with Kaplan lecture notes, videos and Kaplan Qbank (which I finished at 52%).
Then I went through FA, pathoma and UW (which I finished at 60%).
Now I am going through UW, pathom and FA, again...

I don't know, maybe medicine wasn't meant for me.

Any advice is appreciated

Hey.. Stay strong ! Do ur weak areas one more time with First aid & Please read uw explanation . , my exam is in nov too. Jus a mth away ! Study intensely for 10days and then try another NBME again . Best of luck ! My first NBME was form16 ( 220 converted ) ..then I studied 20 Ds in weak areas , then NBME 15 (234 )... So keep going ... U still hav one month !!!!!! Ur score will get higher . And I did not do pathoma .. Jus FA and kaplan & those qbanks . So u can do better !

stay positive!

Make sure you review FA, know the high yield points very well, do as many questions as you can and work on your weak areas. Then, in 2 weeks take another NBME online to see if your score improves.....you still have time. Just keep doing it....not giving up yet!

Work on your weak areas with FA and questions and take online NBMEs....

Best of luck and no worries....stay positive and confident!!!:) I want to take it in November too. Laureen is right...we can do it!
